Privacy Policy

This privacy notice explains how personal information is handled when you use this website or contact GEORGE Export about a cabinetry project. It was last updated on 23 September 2026.

Who handles your information

This website uses the George Group China / GEORGE Group brand. GEORGE BUILDING MATERIALS is the English name used for foreign-trade communications. The website operator and data contact is Foshan Jingcheng Zhizao Building Materials Co., Ltd. (佛山市敬城智造建材有限公司), at No.44, 2nd Floor, Building 24, Yimeijia Sanitary & Ceramic World, Jihua 4th Road, Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, P.R.China.

Information collected

When you submit an inquiry, the form may collect your name, email address, phone number and message. If you continue by email or phone, you may also choose to provide your role, location, project requirements, plans, measurements, photographs and other information needed to discuss the project.

The website also uses technical services that may receive browser, device, network and website-use information. This can include pages viewed, interaction events, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, cookie or similar identifiers, and security signals. Do not include identity documents, payment details or unrelated personal information in an inquiry.

Why the information is used

  • To receive, understand and respond to your inquiry.
  • To discuss a possible cabinetry project and maintain the related correspondence.
  • To operate, protect and troubleshoot the website and its inquiry function.
  • To understand website use and improve the information presented to visitors.
  • To keep records reasonably needed for business, security or legal purposes.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, responding to a project inquiry may involve steps you request before a contract, website security may rely on the operator’s legitimate interest in protecting the service, and records may be kept to meet legal obligations or establish business transactions. Optional measurement should be used with consent where the law requires prior consent.

Inquiry handling and service providers

The GEORGE staff who receive and use inquiry information are in China. GEORGE does not provide inquiry information to factories or logistics providers for business handling.

External technology providers may still process technical information and, where necessary to transmit or store an inquiry, message contents. They support website hosting, abuse protection, traffic measurement, form delivery and email routing; this technical processing does not make them a factory or logistics recipient. A read-only check on 23 September 2026 identified Hostinger in the website-hosting path, a Google tag loaded through Site Kit, Cloudflare Turnstile and a Cloudflare Insights beacon. The public page did not identify the current form or email-delivery provider.

Depending on configuration and browser choices, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure website activity. Cloudflare receives technical signals for security verification and traffic measurement. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices:

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. The inquiry team is in China, so information you send to GEORGE will be transferred to and handled in China. This notice does not claim that one transfer mechanism applies to every visitor or provider. If the law applicable to you requires a particular transfer safeguard, contact GEORGE before submitting personal or confidential material to ask whether an applicable arrangement is available, and do not submit that material until the answer meets your requirements. You may also ask for the current provider information relevant to a specific inquiry.

Cookies and browser choices

Cookies or similar browser storage may be used for website measurement, session recognition and security. During the 23 September 2026 check, the Google tag and Cloudflare services loaded when the public page was opened and no separate cookie-choice interface was visible. You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies, although blocking security or essential functions may prevent the inquiry form from working correctly.

Retention and transmission

For records within GEORGE’s control, the retention standard stated by this notice is to keep inquiry records while responding to the request and determining whether a project will proceed. If a project proceeds, relevant records may be kept with the project and business records for the periods needed to perform the project, meet legal or accounting duties, and address claims. If no project proceeds, information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably needed for the inquiry, security or a legal requirement. Security and measurement records controlled by technology providers follow the applicable provider settings and may have different periods.

Contact GEORGE if you want a specific inquiry record identified or deleted. The request will be considered under the law that applies to it and any record that must still be retained will be explained where required.

The public website uses HTTPS and Turnstile security verification, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Confirm the intended recipient and transfer method before sending large or confidential project files.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw a consent you previously provided. A request may require enough information to identify the related inquiry and verify that it comes from the correct person. Some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.
